SBI Online Registration-Application form for Clerks Recruitment 2012

Complete Procedure for  Submitting SBI Online Application form for Clerks Recruitment 2012 for SC/ST/OBC Candidates and for North-East Circle:


State bank of India has issued the Notification for the Recruitment of Clerks for SC/ST and OBC Candidates and General Recruitment of Clerks in North-Region.In our previous posts we have mentioned the Advertisement details for the recruitment of Clerks both the SC/ST/OBC and for North-East Region.

We have made this page for students who would like to apply for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012.Before applying online, candidates must go through the important points given below.

Before applying online for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012, candidates must have the following documents with them.

  • A Valid  Email Address.
  • Scanned Photo (Size: 20 Kb to 50 Kb) and Scanned Signature (Size: 10 Kb to 20 Kb)
  • Details of marks of Qualifying Exams (Eg. SSC,HSC,Graduation etc)  
  • A Working Mobile Number with SMS facility

Candidates can submit their Online Applications by two modes:

  • Payment of Fee (Offline)
  • Payment of Fee (Online)

Payment of Fee (Offline)
  1. Candidates can apply Online by visiting the SBI Official Website (www.sbi.co.in). After that candidates will have to click the " Recruitment" Link on the Left side.It will open a new page.On the new page, candidates will have to click on the appropriate link that contains the Online Application form.
  2. After that you will have to fill the Online Application form carefully by following the On-Screen Instructions .After that you will have to click on the "Submit" Button.
  3. After the Submitting the Online Application, a System Generated Application Fee Challan will appear on the screen.This System generated Challan must be printed immediately as it is to be used for Payment of Application fees in any branch of SBI only after the 2nd day of Online Registration.Apart from the Challan, the System will also generate Registration Number and Password that must be preserved for future reference.The Online Registration before the Payment of Application fee is only provisional
  4. After depositing the Application fees in the SBI Branch, the candidates will receive Confirmation SMS/e-mail after two working days from the date of payment.
  5. After three days of Submitting the Application fees, candidates will have the provision to Print the Submitted Online Application Form along with fee details.

Payment of Fee (Online)
  1. Follow Steps (1) and (2) given under Payment of Fee (Offline) option.
  2. In case of  Online Payment, the Payment gateway is integrated in the Online Application form and application fees can be paid online at the time of submitting online application
  3. The Online Payment can be made through Master/VISA,Debit Card or Internet banking.Transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the candidate.
  4. After the Online payment of Application fees the system will generate the E-Receipt and Application form, both of them will be printed as preserved as a record.
  5. If due to some reason the Online Registration is unsuccessful, candidates may then again fill the Online Application form and make payment online.
Important Note: 
  • There is also a provision to reprint the E-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage
  • The printout of the application form must not be sent to the Bank.

    Andhra Bank Recruitment 2012 for OBC Candidates based on IBPS Score

    Andhra Bank a leading Public sector and one of the participant banks in the IBPS Common Written Exam 2011 has invited Online Applications from the Indian Citizens who belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and who have appeared in the IBPS PO Common Written Exam 2011 and have been declared successful by IBPS.The candidates must have valid IBPS score card in order to apply for the post of Probationary Officers in Andhra Bank.

    Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.07.2011): Successful OBC students in the IBPS PO Common Written Exam 2011 must posses the following eligibility criteria.

    As mentioned earlier that it is a clerical level exam, so the Selection Procedure for RBI exam is no different from the Other Bank Clerical exams.The Selection Procedure consists of a written Exam and Interview.

    The Written Exam that is tentatively scheduled to be held on 29th April, 2012 will have Objective tests of sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.It is worth mentioning here that students will have to pass in each of the objective tests individually.

    Successful Students in the written exam, and those who rank higher in the order of merit will be called for the Interview.The Final Selection is done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Written Exam and Interview Taken together.

    State bank of India had issued the Latest Notification for the Recruitment of 8500 Assistants on 29th February, 2012.This latest advertisement is a modification of Advt No. CRPD/CR/2011-12/05 dated 27.12.2011.Earlier SBI had announced the Special Recruitment for SC/ST/OBC candidates and North - East Candidates in its previous Advt.

    State,Examination Centre,Pre examination Training Centre can be Changed for Already Registered Candidates:

      The much awaited State Bank of India (SBI) Associates PO Written Exam results were declared today by SBI on its Official Website (www.sbi.co.in).Earlier SBI had conducted the written exam on 7th August, 2011 and results were declared today after a gap of 6 months.Students who have appeared for the SBI Associates PO exam on 7th August, 2011 under Advertisement no. CRPD/PO/AB/2011-12/02 dated 01-06-2011. can check their results at the SBI Official Website

      Here are a few steps that Students must follow before and after Checking their SBI Associate PO Results 2011-2012.

      • SBI Associate PO Results 2011-2012 can be checked only at the SBI Official Website (www.sbi.co.in) or at www.statebankofindia.com.
      • On the Homepage, students must click on the Recruitment Link on the Left side of the page.After that students must open the link on the Recruitment page marked as "RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS IN ASSOCIATE BANKS OF STATE BANK OF INDIA RESULT OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION (PHASE-I) HELD ON 07-08-2011 
      • On the new page, students must click on the Link marked as "DOWNLOAD RESULT OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION (PHASE-I)".After that a (*.pdf) file is opened that contains the Roll Numbers of the Successful candidates

      IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus 2012


      The Syllabus for IBPS clerk exam shall consists of Objective test consisting of sections such as Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English and Computer Knowledge.The Objective test is of 150 marks and has a duration of 2.5 hours.

      Here are some of the Details of 8500 Assistant vacancies in the State Bank of India.Candidates must read the Details below for applying Online for Assistant Vacancies in the SBI

      Number of Vacancies:  8500 (Gen-3145, SC-2069, ST- 1337, OBC- 1949).The vacancies listed there also includes those vacancies that were advertised in the previous SBI Clerical Advt for SC/ST/OBC.

      Pay scale: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

      Probation Period: 6 months.Probation period is the time period during which the performance of newly appointed Candidates will be evaluated.If the Performance of candidates is satisfactory after the Probation period then HE/SHE will be regularised there by ending his/her probation period.

      Eligibility Criteria: Interested Candidates who wish to apply for 8500 Assistant vacancies in the SBI must posses the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

      Age Limit (As on 01.12.2011): Min Age: 18 years and Max: 28 years.

      Application Fees: An application fee of Rs 350 (For Gen and OBC Candidates) and Rs 50 (For Others) will have to be deposited either by Online Mode Or By Offline mode in any Branch of State bank of India before the last date.
      Procedure for Applying: Interested candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria can send their Applications Online by using the below mentioned procedure.

      (I) Payment of Fees (Offline): Candidates who wish to apply with Offline Fee Payment method must fill their Online Application at www.statebankofindia.com. Candidates must carefully fill the Online Application form by following the On-Screen Instruction.After submitting the Online Application form, the system will generate a Fee Payment Challan.This Fee Payment must be printed and used for Payment of Application fee in the State bank of India.After the Payment of Application fees, the registration process is completed.

      (II) Payment of Fees (Online): In this case, candidates are required to Submit their applications Online at the  www.statebankofindia.com. and deposit their Application fees Online by using VISA/Master Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.After the Payment of Application fees the system will generate an e-receipt that must printed and preserved as a record.After Submitting the Online Application, the System will generate an Application form that must be printed and preserved till the final selection

      Important Dates to Note:

      Online Registration will start form : 5th March, 2012

      Last date for Submitting the Online Applications: 26th March, 2012
